Famously known to her fans as “Toni Hawkins” was born in Washington DC, and raised in the heart of Montgomery county, Maryland. She is writer at heart since age twelve, toni found her voice inspired by short stories by her middle school English teacher. The spark grew into a fire, leading her down a path filled with fantasy, mystery, and magic.
Toni’s love for literature deepened during her teens as she devoured novels by Stephen King, Tony Morrison, Stephenie Meyer, Charlaine Harris, james Patterson, and JK Rowling. Their influence can be felt in her supernatural storytelling, rich characters, and chilling suspense.
She is the award-winning, international bestselling author of The Gifted Series, a thrilling mixture of urban fantasy and coming-of-age drama. Beyond writing, Toni loves to volunteer at her church, binge watching American Horror Story, and her love for baking makes her one of the all-around people. A proud graduate of the University of Maryland and member of alpha sigma Tau sorority, Toni is currently working on the final installment of The Gifted Series while exploring stories in RomCom, LGBTQ+ fiction, and supernatural horror.
